He was born on September 8 1832. He studied medicine with the best talents in the 1800s in Catania; he took his degree in a short time and dedicated himself to his job considering it as a philanthropic mission. He was considered a clever clinician and he is still mentioned from his fellow citizens. He was Member of the Province Council and Knight of the Crown of Italy.

He died on October 1904.
