Built in 1641 by Domenico I Prince Di Giovanni, his
ordinary residence where he judged and he discussed the controversies.
It is composed of a building placed in the East part
of the town, it has two floors with a noble staircase in lava stone
and a wide court.

You can enjoy a panoramic and artistic sight of the
country from the large window.
The modifications done in the course of the years
to the first floor have completely destroyed the ancient aspect
of the Room of the Guard and some very interesting cells for the
people to judge; the second floor is almost intact.

Twenty-year works have given as a result the remaking
of the roof. The whole building was expropriated and bought by the
Town Council, currently impracticable, despoiled of the few testimonies
remained it will be only enjoyable by the future generations. |
